Target Market

Finished painting for my Target market. I did this illustration for Hans Christian Andersen's The Elf in the Rose. It was a really morbid story, but I liked it a lot. At first I was a little hesitant to paint this scene for a children's book project, but no one else seemed to have a problem with it. I'm really happy I finished it, it's the first piece I've done in a long time that I've really felt was finished. I could make little changes here and there, but if I work on it any more I'll probably overdo it. So here it is! It's kind of a crappy scan, I'll try to get a better one later.

New Work

So I feel like a total monkeyslut for not posting anything in forever. So now I'm going to post some old stuff from over this school year.

These two were stamp designs from September. The daylily still needs editing, but I haven't done it yet.

And...to be honest, I can't really find anything else on my computer. I haven't scanned anything that I want to post here. I guess I'll have to go on some kind of epic scanning adventure and then get back to you. I totally suck at blogging haha.

Digital practice

So, I've been trying to get better at digital work and this is my first attempt of the summer. I'm a little dubious, but we'll see how it comes out. Here it is, completely unfinished if you couldn't tell. It probably won't have a background...

Update

So apparently I have a blog now. Are you happy, Miguel?
